Today we celebrated Miss Madeleine Grace's birthday. I can't believe she is 1. The year has flown by and she has grown so much!

Crazy, huh? Well, without further ado, here are the pics from today...
Maddie is not a fan of balloons. She gets like this nervous laugh that will turn into full on crying if she is too close to them for an extended period of time. Strange, right? I'm hoping she outgrows this fear.
Of course, the theme was "princess" since Maddie happens to be one :)

Maddie loved all of her birthday cards and she was so excited about each gift she received.
She loved her cake. At one point, I'm pretty sure she went into a sugar coma. You may be wondering about the actual cake. Well...humm... The battery for the camera started to die as we got to the cake festivities. I'm extremely bummed that I don't have pictures of her cake. Unless you want to see me cry, it is better to not mention the incident :(

Maddie playing with her first Barbie doll.It was like she has been to a thousand birthday parties. She took the festivities in stride and had a great time. As Grandma said, "She has a sunny disposition." Happy Birthday, my sweet princess!
